The Jacksonville Jaguars are in the division round. They are set to face off against the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday afternoon which is certainly going to be a very tough task. It would be an incredibly hard road to the Super Bowl but they believe in themselves.

How could they not believe in themselves? They came back from being down by 27 in order to beat the Los Angeles Chargers on Super Wild Card Weekend which gave them a ton of confidence. Things are good for this team right now.

On Tuesday, Trevor Lawrence gave his first official presser since the big win which certainly was filled with some fun quotes for people to digest. This is a star player that also happens to be a really nice and funny dude.

The first five questions that Lawrence answered had to do with his trip to Waffle House following the game. Who wouldn’t want to know the details about how that all happened as it was one of the most relatable things we’ve ever seen from a professional athlete.

We learned that Lawrence and his group had a reservation at this particular Waffle House location which makes them the first group of people to ever do that there (probably). We also learned what it is that Larence enjoys ordering from this place.

Trevor Lawrence is a great person to have as Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback.

The entire conversation wasn’t just fun and games either. He talked about his injured thumb and confirmed that it won’t be a problem against this Kansas City Chiefs team.

He also gave some insight into his feelings about the game and what it might take in order to beat them. There was some emphasis on the last time that the two teams met and how important it is going to be for them to keep scoring lots of points.

One of the most interesting things that we heard from him in this presser was the successful two-point conversion that he had against the Chargers. He confirmed that he saw an opportunity and took it which tells us that it was unplanned.

That is good because he can make adjustments that work. Doug Pederson’s confidence in his blossoming quarterback grows with each passing week. Plays like this are the reason why.

Based on this presser, it is clear that Lawrence is learning a lot about being elite at the NFL level while keeping things light-hearted off the field. The Chiefs are one of the best teams in the NFL so this weekend’s game is going to be tough but it is an exciting time to be a Jaguars fan.
