The Jacksonville Jaguars are set to take on a talented Los Angeles Chargers team in Super Wild Card Weekend. The Jags are an underdog for the game but head coach Doug Pederson believes they’ll be up for the challenge.

“The last month of our season has kind of prepared us for this because these were all like must-win games, right? And no bigger than last weekend.” Pederson told the local media Friday. “But this is a little different, the atmosphere will be different.

“The pace will be a bit different, the intensity will be a little different, that’s just the way it is in the postseason. So I haven’t seen a difference with the team, which is a good thing. And we got to focus on our jobs”, Pederson said.

The Jaguars finished 7-2 after a 2-6 start. Along the way, they showed they can play complementary football and bounce back from unfavorable positions. All things considered, they match up favorably with the Chargers and nobody will bat an eye if they advance to the Divisional Round of the playoffs. With that in mind, here are five bold predictions for Super Wild Card Weekend.

5. Tyson Campbell will register an interception vs. the Chargers

This might not look like a bold prediction at first but Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert does a good job of taking care of the football, throwing just 10 interceptions in 2022. Herbert isn’t the kind of signal-caller that forces a throw but the Jaguars’ defensive front has successfully brought the heat in recent weeks.

Herbert will make his fair share of good throws but the pressure he will face from the Jacksonville defensive front will force him into throwing an interception and sophomore cornerback Tyson Campbell, who had three picks in the regular season, will be on the receiving end of it.
