Jacksonville Jaguars will obliterate LA Chargers in Wild Card Game
With Super Wild Card Weekend upon us, the Jacksonville Jaguars are preparing to take on the Los Angeles Chargers. This is the biggest game of the season for the Jaguars and it is one of the biggest games in franchise history.
A guy like Trevor Lawrence has played in some big games before including College Football National Championships. His play in the second half of this season is a big reason for the Jaguars going on a run and making it to the playoffs.
To be honest, it seems like a letdown game for the Jacksonville Jaguars just because the Los Angeles Chargers have been a better team for almost the entire season. They also have a quarterback just as good as Trevor Lawrence in Justin Herbert.
With that said, the Jaguars are going to obliterate the Chargers in this game. The Chargers usually end up blowing their chances right before making the playoffs but they got in this year. Now is their chance to lose a game that they are supposed to win.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are coming into this game looking to cause a stir.
The Jaguars are coming into this game as one of the hottest teams in the National Football League. They had to win a bunch of games just to qualify for the playoffs at all which means they should be as ready for the playoffs as anyone. The playoffs started for them two months ago.
It is a great opportunity for them to take that momentum and use it to their advantage. Trevor Lawrence has been the best quarterback in the NFL since week nine and now is his chance to keep it going when things matter the most. This is a huge step in his NFL career.
If the Jaguars do end up winning the game, the competition is going to get even harder so they might as well try to enjoy this one if they are able to pull it off. Teams like the Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bulls, and Kansas City Chiefs would be waiting for them on the other side.
This Chargers team is very good. In addition to Herbert, guys like Austin Ekeler and Keenan Allen can make huge plays. However, things will be more difficult for them if their leading receiver (by yards) Mike Williams is missing. He is injured and questionable for this game.
Joey Bosa is back from injury and will be looking to make a big impact on this game as he is one of the premier pass rushers in the league. If he is able to disrupt Lawrence on a regular basis in this game, that will be a problem.
All of these issues are things that Doug Pederson and the Jaguars need to be prepared for. If they are on top of their game, they will beat these Chargers. It is too early for the season to be over for them and they can do this.
