The 7-7 Jets have lost four of their last five games but they’re not the kind of opponent clubs can afford to underestimate even if Zach Wilson, who will fill in for Mike White, gets the starting nod. If it snows, both the Jets and Jacksonville will struggle to move the ball. This could potentially give New York a slight edge, as Zach Wilson, who was previously benched for Mike White, will probably be their starting quarterback.

With or without Wilson, the Jets have struggled in recent weeks after starting 6-3. While they have a chance to get out of the funk, the Jaguars are getting hot at the right time, having beaten the Baltimore Ravens and the Dallas Cowboys in the last three weeks. They lost to the Detroit Lions in Week 13 but that seems like an outlier when you take into account that they’ve gone 4-2 since Week 9.

Trevor Lawrence is playing like a top-10 quarterback, completing over 70 percent of his passes with 14 touchdowns and just one interception over the last six games. It’s hard to see him regressing even if the weather is a factor Thursday. Moreover, the defense is making plays and has tightened up after struggling early in the season. They’re still giving up yards in chunks to opposing offenses but they’re generating turnovers.

For the aforementioned reasons, the Jaguars should get their seventh win of the year.
