No. 2 Jaguars Travon Walker will register a sack, forced fumble vs. Lions

Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson recently took a jab at the Jaguars when he told the media he thought they were going to draft him, “my arms were not quite long enough“. Maybe he did want to go to Jacksonville but you could make the case that he ended up in a favorable situation.

On the other hand, outside linebacker Travon Walker, the player the Jags chose over Hutchinson, is still finding his footing in the NFL. Outside of Week 1, the former Georgia Bulldog has been mostly quiet. But that will change against the Lions. He will prove (at least for one game) that he’s better than Hutchinson and will finish with a better statline: One sack and a fumble.

No. 1 Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence will throw for 300 yards in Week 12

Trevor Lawrence is coming off his best performance of the 2022 season, one that signals his arrival in the eyes of analysts. Moreover, he’s built more consistency and has avoided making the kind of mistakes he made early in the year.

Make no mistake, Lawrence had made strides this season but he hadn’t played nearly as efficiently as he did against the Ravens.

In the last two games, Lawrence has thrown five touchdowns and no interceptions, and he did it against a couple of talented defenses (the Chiefs and the Ravens). He should find the same kind of success against a Lions’ defense that struggles to defend the pass.
