No. 4 Jaguars players to watch vs. the Ravens: Travis Etienne, RB

Even though Travis Etienne managed to log 100 rushing yards against the Las Vegas Raiders, he wasn’t able to break off any big runs. The Kansas City Chiefs also put an emphasis on stopping the sophomore running back and limited him to 45 yards on 11 carries.

Etienne still managed to average more than 4.0 yards per carry in the Jaguars’ last two contests but teams are starting to take away their ability to run the game. Head coach Doug Pederson acknowledged that defenses have adapted and Jacksonville must do the same.

“We’ve got to get back on track, Pederson said. “This week, we’ve got to try to run the football. That just opens so many things up just like it does for Baltimore”.

Running the ball is arguably the Jaguars’ biggest strength on offense and if they want to have a shot at pulling off the upset, they will need to lean on Etienne.

No. 3 Jaguars players to watch vs. the Ravens: Chad Muma, LB

Early in the 2022 season, it didn’t seem like Chad Muma would get much playing time. After all, fellow linebacker Devin Lloyd was off to a strong start and was seen as an early candidate to win the Defensive Rookie of the Year Award.

But Lloyd has struggled in recent weeks, which has paved the way for Muma to get more playing time. After appearing in a combined 35 defensive snaps in the first nine weeks of the season, the former Wyoming Cowboy logged 25 against the Chiefs in Week 10 and will get a similar amount and maybe even more against Baltimore.

If Muma fares well in Week 12, the coaching staff will have no choice but to keep him on the field.
