If you look at the Jacksonville Jaguars through wins-and-losses lenses, their 3-7 record ahead of Week 12 is nothing to speak of. However, the Jags aren’t putrid. Sure, they would like to have a few more wins but they’ve taken steps in the right direction under Doug Pederson.

For one, the Jaguars haven’t been blown out in 2022. Even though they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs by 10 points, they kept things interesting for most of the game and it would’ve been closer had it not been for self-inflicted wounds.

Jacksonville doesn’t have a top-10 offense but they aren’t in the cellar of the league like last season and that must account for something, right? Another sign these are no longer the same old Jaguars is that they’re a 3.5-point underdog against the Baltimore Ravens.

In any other season, the Jaguars would have been left for dead before the game even started but that’s currently not the case and might even have a realistic shot at pulling off the upset. With that in mind, here are three prop bets you might like for Week 12, all of them via FanDuel.

Jaguars vs. Ravens: 3 Prop Bets That You Might Like For Week 12

3. Trevor Lawrence, 250+ passing yards (+152)

Trevor Lawrence hasn’t been a volume passer this season, having thrown 300 yards or more in a game just once. However, he’s coming off two highly efficient outings and has avoided making the kind of mistakes that have cost the Jaguars a few games in 2022.

It’s hard to envision Lawrence tallying more than 300 passing yards against the Ravens but 250 is a realistic number to strive for. The odds of doing so sit at +142 but if you want to place a more conservative wager, you can pick him to throw for 225 at -130. The payoff is considerably lower but it’s safer.

2. Christian Kirk, anytime touchdown scorer (+185), first touchdown scorer (+1,000)

Wide receiver Christian Kirk has become Trevor Lawrence’s go-to target this season. The former Arizona Cardinal is on pace to post career bests in yards and receiving touchdowns and become the first Jaguars receiver since DJ Chark Jr. to have over 1,000 receiving yards since 2019.

Kirk is a safe bet to reach the end zone in any given game, that’s why the odds of him scoring at any time against the Ravens are +185. On the other hand, you can pick him to be the first player from either team to reach the end zone at 1,000. It’s a more risky wager but one worth placing if you like Kirk’s production in 2022.

1. Travis Etienne, 80 rushing yards or more (+142)

It feels like betting on running back Travis Etienne every week is a must moving forward but there’s a good reason. His 45 yards on 11 carries against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11 looks like an outlier when you take into account that he averaged 107 rushing yards per game and 6.23 yards per carry from Weeks 5 to 9.

Etienne’s workload may vary depending on the Jags’ opponent but the coaching staff will keep feeding him the ball for the remainder of the season. The former Clemson Tiger has had success when he’s been an important part of the offense, so why stop now?

Even against a Ravens’ run defense that ranks third in the league, Etienne will most likely get a big workload, and picking him to get 80 yards on the ground or more at +142 feels a bit risky but not unreasonable.
