The Jacksonville Jaguars haven’t won a game since beating the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3, and players are rightfully getting frustrated with the losses piling up, why wouldn’t they? The Jags have had a legitimate shot at winning each of the last five games but they came up short every single time.

Trevor Lawrence told the local Media Wednesday that he and his teammates are frustrated, not at each other but rather at the losing.

“There’s definitely frustration and guys talk about it,” Lawrence said. “That’s a great thing about our team is guys communicate. It’s not you don’t just put on a smile and act like everything’s alright. It’s not. We’ve lost five in a row and everyone’s pissed and frustrated but not at each other. There’s no point the finger but we all understand and have that dialogue of what we need to do and everybody knows what we need to do and we just gotta go do it”.

In Week 9, the Jags will take on a Las Vegas Raiders team that has underperformed in 2022 and if they want to end the losing skid, these five players must shine in Week 9.

Outside linebacker Travon Walker has had somewhat of a quiet rookie campaign, which isn’t surprising when you consider this is the first time in his football career that he’s rushing the quarterback from a standup position full-time. The Jags knew it was going to take him time to get acclimated but they would benefit if his learning curve sped up.

The Jags sacked Russell Wilson three times in Week 8 but they’re near the cellar of the league when it comes to quarterback takedowns. Walker has logged 1.5 sacks in the last two games and he’ll need to have another solid game and help take some pressure off Josh Allen’s shoulders if they want to rattle Derek Carr.
