When it comes to the NFL, you should always expect the unexpected, and the Jacksonville Jaguars surely raised more than a few eyebrows when they announced they had traded running back James Robinson to the New York Jets Monday.

This was rather perplexing when you take into account that the former Illinois State Redbird was one of their best players on the roster the last two seasons. Robinson himself sounded surprised he had been traded but the NFL can be a tough business and the team’s brass did what they thought was in their best interest.

Moving forward, Travis Etienne will be Jacksonville’s No. 1 running back and he will have the chance to prove he can succeed with Robinson out of the picture. But Etienne won’t be the Jaguar that will need to show out in Week 8 if they want to beat the Denver Broncos in London. With this in mind, here are five players who must shine under the spotlight of Wembley Stadium.

Trading James Robinson wasn’t the only reason the Jaguars were in the headlines this week. They also caught everyone’s attention when they placed cornerback Shaquill Griffin on the Injured Reserve list, which will force him to miss at least four games.

Griffin wasn’t playing particularly well, and it seems like a back injury was the reason for his poor performance against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6. Now, Tre Herndon will take his place in the starting lineup.

Herndon allowed a touchdown pass to New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton but he held his own for most of the game. Similarly, he played well in relief of Griffin against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3. He will now have a chance to show he belongs in the starting lineup for the remainder of the season.
