No. 4 Colt the Jaguars must silence in Week 6: Stephon Gilmore, CB

Cornerback Stephon Gilmore is no longer the player that registered six interceptions and earned Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2019 but he still has plenty of gas left and is not living off his reputation. He’s started every game this season and has only one pick but it was huge in Indy’s win over the Denver Broncos in Week 5.

While the Colts have the worst offense in the league, their defense is nothing to scoff at and Gilly has quickly established himself as a playmaker in their secondary. Jaguars offensive coordinator Press Taylor will need to craft a game plan that minimizes Gilmore’s impact.

No. 3 Colt the Jaguars must silence in Week 6: Shaquille Leonard

Jonathan Tayor isn’t the only Colts’ franchise building block that has missed time injuries this season. A back injury kept linebacker Shaquille Leonard from playing in the first three games. He was then ruled out for Week 5 with a concussion.

Having Leonard for Sunday would be big for Indy. Think about it. Their defense ranks 10th in points scored and Leonard’s game-changing prowess would make them even stouter. If the All-Pro linebacker is available, the Jaguars might have a hard time running the ball, which would in turn put added pressure on Trevor Lawrence’s shoulders.
