Winning cures everything (at least when it comes to the NFL) and the Jacksonville Jaguars will have a chance to recover from a two-game losing streak when they face off against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6 of the 2022 season.

These AFC South rivals already met back in Week 2 and the Jags ended up beating Indy 24-0. But many things have changed since then. Jacksonville was trending up and was statistically one of the best clubs in the league. However, they’ve come crashing down and have lost to the Philadelphia Eagles and the previously winless Houston Texans in consecutive weeks.

On the bright side, the Colts haven’t shown much improvement over the last few weeks and might have a hard time fending off the Jags. Then again, Jacksonville was favored to win against the Texans and still lost, so head coach Doug Pederson must have the Jaguars ready. With this in mind, here are the odds and final score prediction for the game.

Jaguars vs. Colts odds for Week 6

Per Betsided, the Jags are entering the game as a 2.5-point underdog with a moneyline of +115. Bet $100 on them and win $115 if they beat Indianapolis for a total payout of $210. On the other hand, the Colts’ moneyline sits at -130. To get $100, you must place a bet of $130. The over/under for the game is set at 41.5 points.

The Jags have only been the favorites once this season and that was against the Texans last week. However, they squandered their opportunity to earn their third win of the season and instead handed Lovie Smith’s squad their first victory of the year. On the other hand, they will once again have a favorable matchup against Indianapolis despite the fact that the game will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Colts tied with Houston in the season opener and have managed to win two games in the last three weeks. However, they have the least amount of points in the league and Matt Ryan is coming off a two-interception performance in Week 4.

Having said that, the Jaguars can’t afford to underestimate an opponent for the second straight week. They were on paper a better team than the Texans in Week 5 but lost even though the game was at TIAA Bank Field. They will now have to travel and run the risk of losing for the third time in as many weeks.

Linebacker Foyesade Oluokun is aware the team must wake up and they must execute now that their backs are against the wall. The team captain also added that their awareness is now heightened and if that’s the case, they have the talent to come out of Indianapolis with the W even if it’s not as lopsided as Week 2. All things considered, this writer believes they’re too talented to lose three in a row.

Final score: Jaguars 24 – Indy 17
