4. Jaguars TE Evan Engram will score his first TD of the season

One thing that isn’t brought up often (or as much as it should) when discussing the 2022 Jaguars is how stacked their roster is. Shaquill Griffin didn’t suit up against the Bolts but Tre Herndon filled in for him and the secondary didn’t miss a beat. Against the Eagles, Jacksonville might be without Zay Jones, who popped on on the Injury Report Thursday with an ankle injury.

If Jones doesn’t play Sunday, someone will need to pick up the slack and that will be tight end Evan Engram. Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon will devote resources to keeping wide receivers Christian Kirk and Marvin Jones Jr. in check, which then leave Engram in a position to make plays and score his first touchdown of the season.

Engram scored against Los Angeles but it was reversed. That won’t happen in Week 4.

3. Trevor Lawrence won’t get sacked once in Week 4

The Jaguars have done a good job of protecting Trevor Lawrence After allowing 20 pressures in the opener, they’ve only given up a combined 10 the last two games. However, it won’t be easy to keep the quarterback upright in Week 4, as they will face off against the Eagles’ ferocious pass rush.

After registering just three sacks in the first two games of the season, Philly took down Carson Wentz a staggering nine times. Sure, the Washington Commanders’ offensive line must shoulder some of the blame but you can’t take credit away from the Eagles’ front seven.

Having said that, the Jaguars will be up to the task and won’t allow a single sack in Week 4. The offensive line will find a way to neutralize Philadelphia’s pass rush and give Lawrence enough time to throw the ball.
