The Jacksonville Jaguars were surely on cloud nine after beating the Los Angeles Charges in Week 3. However, they’ve already gotten back to work and are preparing to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4.

This is the first time head coach Doug Pederson will return to the City of Brotherly Love. But this time though, he will be on the opposite sidelines, facing off the Eagles, the team he helped win Super Bowl 52.

Pederson was given the boot after the 2020 season and took one year off before becoming the head coach of the Jags. Looking back, it looks like things worked out for both Pederson and the Jags, as they’re currently at the top of the AFC South and the top half of most power rankings.

But to solidify their hold on the division, the Jags will need to beat Philly, and that may prove to be a tall order. With that in mind, here are the odds and a final score prediction for Week 4.

Jaguars vs. Eagles Odds for Week 4

Per Betsided, the Jags are a 6.5-point underdog with a moneyline of +231 in Week 4. Put a wager of $100 on them and win $231 for a total payout of $331 if they beat Philadelphia.

On the other hand, the Eagles’ moneyline is set at -292. To win $100, you must place a bet of $292 on them. The over/under for the matchup sits at 48.5 points.

Jaguars vs. Eagles Prediction for Week 4

It’s hard to bet against Jacksonville knowing they were projected to lose the last two weeks but still won. Having said that, the Eagles are 3-0 and arguably in better shape than the Chargers were last week. Running back Miles Sanders is healthy after dealing with injuries the past two seasons. Wide receiver A.J. Brown has established himself as their top target on offense and Jalen Hurts is showing signs he can be the long-term answer in Philly.

Jaguars players would certainly help coach Pederson beat his old team and they stack up favorably with the Eagles. Moreover, Jacksonville has a top-5 defense and Trevor Lawrence is playing the way he was expected when he was drafted first overall. However, Philly ranks fifth in points scored and also has a top 10 defense.

Moreover, the game will be at Lincoln Financial Field, so the Eagles will have home field advantage. The Jaguars have the making of a playoff team but Philly is the better team right now.

Final score: Jaguars 21 – Eagles 28
