One of the biggest appeals of the NFL is that any of the 32 teams can shine on any given Sunday. Last season, the Jacksonville Jaguars pulled off an upset in Week 9, when they beat the Buffalo Bills, one of the top teams in the league.

Having said that, there are clubs, such as the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Rams, that are routinely better than others. Unfortunately, the Jaguars don’t fit that category and have been one of the worst teams in the league for a while.

On the bright side, Jacksonville has taken important steps toward changing course. Given all the additions they’ve made in free agency and the draft, they should be vastly improved in 2022 and should be able to double their win totals from last year. With that in mind, here are three games the Jaguars should win.

No. 1 most winnable game on Jaguars schedule – Week 7 vs. Giants.

The New York Giants cleaned house after years of minimal results and leaving the roster devoid of talent, firing general manager Dave Gettleman and head coach Joe Judge and hiring Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen to take their respective places.

Daniel Jones remains at quarterback but the G-Men opted not to exercise the fifth-year option on his rookie year, meaning that he’s entering a crucial season. Just like the Jaguars, New York is in rebuilding mode. However, they might need another year to see the meaningful progress in spite of coming out of the 2022 draft with a pretty good haul.

Jacksonville’s cornerback group stacks up well against the Giants’ spotty wide receiver corps and the game will be held at TIAA Bank Field. The Jaguars have the edge on this one and should get the win.
