No. 3 receiver the Jaguars could trade for – Deebo Samuel.

The Jaguars know firsthand how talented Swiss Knife Deebo Samuel is. Last season, Jacksonville took on the San Francisco in Week 11 and Samuel totaled 94 yards on just nine touches. Sure, their defense wasn’t particularly stout but the 2019 second-round pick routinely made plays against every team he faced. That’s why he’s been highly coveted and four teams have inquired about the all-around weapon.

Samuel hauled in 77 receptions for 1,405 yards with six touchdowns. He also toted the rock 59 times for 365 yards and eight touchdowns. Moreover, he earned Pro Bowl and First-Team All-Pro honors. He now wants a contract that reflects his status as one of the premier playmakers in the NFL and it looks like his relationship with the Niners has soured, after removing all the team references on social media.

Jeff Darlington of ESPN reports he talked to Samuel and says the wideout has requested a trade. Adam Schefter also reported San Francisco was ready to give Samuel a new contract at any time but he might be done with them.

The 49ers might have no option but to grant Samuel’s request. Every single team in the NFL would welcome him with open arms and depending on how great the demand is, San Francisco could ask for premium compensation. Clubs that want to contend will spare no expenses in order to get a playmaker of Samuel’s caliber and although the Jaguars aren’t in that category, he would give their offense an immense boost and could speed up their rebuilding process significantly.
