Even though free agency will officially start until 4 p.m. ET today, the Jacksonville Jaguars have wasted no time and been among the most aggressive teams during the NFL’s legal tampering period, agreeing to terms with a handful of players.

Although the Jags weren’t as active on the second day of the NFL’s legal tampering period as they were on Day 1, they still have enough cap space to make a few more additions. Here are four players they can still sign on the first official day of free agency.

No. 1 free agent the Jaguars can still sign – Billy Turner, OL.

Even though the Jags applied the franchise tag on left tackle Cam Robinson and signed offensive guard Brandon Scherff in free agency, their offensive line could still use some work. Starting guard A.J. Cann bolted to the Houston Texans and signed a two-year deal. Meanwhile, Andrew Norwell, who is a free agent, might not return to Jacksonville in 2022.

Offensive lineman Ben Bartch could start at either guard spot but the Jaguars could also add someone else in free agency. If they want to add a player with starting experience and the versatility to play different positions, they should then pursue Bill Turner, who spent the last three seasons with the Green Bay Packers.

Turner has also played for the Miami Dolphins and the Denver Broncos. In Green Bay, he made 43 starts and can line up anywhere but center. The North Dakota State product became a cap casualty but should have no trouble finding a new club soon. That team could be the Jaguars.
