The Jacksonville Jaguars currently have holes all across their depth chart. You don’t end up with the first overall pick for no reason. Luckily, they have the capital to address those deficiencies.

After a season that was marred by a disastrous head coaching debut, the team recently found itself in a familiar spot: Hiring a new head coach. Nevertheless, Doug Pederson is no afterthought as the Jaguars hired the man who led the Philadelphia Eagles to something many never expected to see in their lifetimes, a Super Bowl win.

Before Pederson can do the same for the Jags, he’ll need his team to be re-tooled efficiently. There are so many holes that Jacksonville’s brass can literally pick any position in this year’s draft, and you wouldn’t go wrong. Of course, save for the quarterback spot, where Trevor Lawrence is looking to become a franchise stalwart.

The key positions that need the most attention from the Jaguars this April will be the offensive line, wide receiver, and pass rusher. Being at the top of an NFL draft that doesn’t have a consensus number one pick is a precarious matter. There’s no wide receiver worthy of being taken first, but there will be some edge rushers who might live up to such hefty expectations.

So, with that being said, let’s take a look at which route the Jaguars go in this latest mock scenario. The team is in the fortunate position of having two third round selections, which will come in handy.
