The Jacksonville Jaguars are coming off an embarrassing loss to the New England Patriots in Week 17. They will be able to reflect on everything that went wrong during the 2021 season in a few days. But before that, the Jags still need to play one more game in Week 18.

The Jags will welcome the Indianapolis Colts at TIAA Bank Field in the season finale. Back in Week 10, Jacksonville nearly pull off a comeback but ended up falling short and lost 23-17. The Jaguars are currently 2-14 and without much to play for. However, it would be great to finish the year on a high note, especially when you take into account that the game will be at home. Here are the odds and a final score prediction for the game.

Jaguars vs. Colts Week 18 final score prediction.

The Jags last won a football game back in Week 9, when they beat the Buffalo Bills. Looking back the 9-6 upset was an outlier, as their defense hasn’t been as dominant since then. Moreover, they have struggled to put points on the scoreboards, and something as mundane as getting positive yardage has seemed like a Herculean task in the second half of the season.

Meanwhile, the Colts have won six of their last eight games. Running back Jonathan Taylor is playing at a Pro Bowl level and their defense leads the league in forced fumbles and total takeaways. Even if quarterback Carson Wentz has an off game, the rest of the team can pick up the slack.

Having said that, it’s just an itch but this writer feels the Jaguars are going to find a way to win at home. Trever Lawrence is going to bounce back from his three-interception debacle and will have the best game of his rookie campaign. The offense is going to be able to move the ball the way they did against the New York Jets in Week 16 and the defense is going to play close to the way they did in the middle of the season.

In Week 10, the Jags come close to beating Indianapolis. This time, they will finish the job and will avoid losing 15 games in consecutive seasons.
