And just like that, it’s 2022. Not a whole much changed for the Jacksonville Jaguars this past year, as they’re once again looking for another head coach after firing Urban Meyer in early December. On the other hand, they will have to wait a couple of weeks to get into full offseason mode as they still have two games left in the schedule and the next one is against the New England Patriots.

That’s right. Before the Jags can focus all their effort on their head coaching search, they need to face off against the Pats in Week 17 at Gillette Stadium. Here’s everything you need to know for the Jags’ game Sunday, including an injury report for both teams, the spread, where to watch it, and a live stream. Go Jags!

Jaguars Injury Report vs. Patriots Week 17

Several Jaguars players have landed on the COVID-19/Reserve list, including cornerback Shaquill Griffin, so they won’t be available Sunday. Linebacker Dakota Allen has been listed as questionable (shoulder) and tight end James O’Shaughnessy (hip) is out for the game.

The Jags also activated defensive tackle Malcom Brown, defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton, tight end Chris Manhertz, left guard Andrew Norwell, and defensive lineman Jihad Ward from the list. Nevin Lawson has been ruled out for the game with an illness (not COVID). The Jags also announced they’ve elevated the following players from the practice squad to the active roster: Cornerback Lorenzo Burns, defensive tackle Doug Costin, wide receiver Jeff Cotton Jr., running back Nathan Cottrell, offensive lineman D.J. Fluker, defensive back Michael Jacquet, safety Bradley McDougald, offensive lineman Badara Traore and offensive lineman Tre’Vour Wallace-Smith.

On the Patriots sideline, defensive tackle Christian Barmore (knee), kicker Nick Folk (knee), running back Damien Harris (hamstring), linebacker Dont’a Hightower (knee), cornerback J.C. Jackson (elbow), wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (tight), safety Adrian Phillips (knee) and safety Kyle Dugger are listed as questionable.

Here’s a tracker of all the moves the Jags have had to make to comply with the COVID-19 protocols.
