No. 2 Falcon the Jaguars must keep in check – A.J. Terrell, CB

The Jaguars had their fair share of choices with the ninth overall in last year’s draft and ended up choosing C.J. Henderson, whom they traded to the Carolina Panthers after Week 3 of the current season. The former Florida Gator isn’t lacking talent but he hasn’t been able to get it together in the NFL. What makes this a bit more frustrating is that the Jags were in a prime position to take A.J. Terrell, whom they will have to face in Week 12.

Terrell has gone on to become one of the few playmakers on defense, logging 40 total tackles, eight passes defensed, and one interception in 2021. Furthermore, he’s allowing a 50 percent completion rate and has a Pro Football Focus overall grade of 82.6, the highest among Falcons defenders. The Jaguars’ wide receivers have failed to generate separation in recent weeks and Terrell won’t make it any easier.

No. 3 Falcon the Jaguars must keep in check – Foyesade Oluokun, LB

Foeysade Oluokun would more recognition if the Falcons’ defense wasn’t such a liability. An undrafted free agent in 2018, the Yale product worked his way up the roster and has started 24 games over the last two seasons.

Set to be a free agent in 2022, Oluokun is having a career year, logging 110 total tackles, three tackles for a loss, one interception, one forced fumble, and two passes defensed. The Falcons must do what it takes to keep him in the offeason while the Jaguars need to look for ways to lessen his impact Sunday.
