On a side note, the Jaguars announced Saturday they’ve promoted wide receiver John Brown, which they signed earlier this month, from the practice squad to the active roster.

Brown was a third-round pick in the 2014 draft by the Arizona Cardinals and has spent time with the Buffalo Bills, the Baltimore Ravens, the Las Vegas Raiders, and the Denver Broncos. He will be making his debut for the Black and Teal Sunday.

On the 49ers’ sideline, running back Elijah Mitchell is listed as doubtful after undergoing finger surgery Monday. If he can’t go, Jeff Wilson Jr. will take his place in the backfield. On the other hand, running back JaMycal Hasty (ankle) and defensive tackle Maurice Hurst (calf) have been ruled out.
