Even though the Jacksonville Jaguars have won just two games this season, they’ve shown promise in recent weeks. The defense is playing at a high level and rookie Trevor Lawrence has gotten better.

If the Jags can get more from their offense, they will be able to rack up a few more wins before the end of the season. Then again, expecting them to win more than four or five games in the next eight weeks may be unrealistic. This was always going to be a developmental year and Jacksonville will have the chance to take a step in the right direction in Week 11, when they take on the San Francisco 49ers.

The Jaguars are coming off a 23-17 loss to Indianapolis Colts while the Niners just beat the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football. While this match looks lopsided at first, don’t count the Jags just yet.

Here are five predictions for the Jaguars’ game against the 49ers.

1. Jaguars running back James Robinson will score two rushing touchdowns.

James Robinson suffered a heel injury in Week 8 that held him out in Week 9. He was back against the Indianapolis Colts but he only got a limited amount of work, playing 59 percent of the Jags’ offensive snaps and running the ball just 12 times.

Although Robinson isn’t 100 percent yet, he should get a bigger amount of carries, something along the lines of 18 to 20. He hasn’t gotten more than 18 this season but has made the most of them, averaging 5.4 yards per carry. The former Illinois State Redbird should be able to break a few runs and will find the end zone twice for the second time this season.
