1. Jaguars’ quarterback Trevor Lawrence is in an excellent position to succeed against the Colts.

Partially due to injury, Trevor Lawrence had a relatively quiet day against the Buffalo Bills, throwing only for 118 yards. However, this week, he will be facing off against an underachieving Indianapolis Colts team.

Part of the reason the Jags’ AFC South foe possess a 4-5 overall record is due to their porous secondary. As of now, the Colts’ defense is allowing the most passing touchdowns in the NFL.

Just last week, Indianapolis allowed the New York Jets to score their second-highest amount of points (30) this season with a third-string quarterback. While Josh Johnson is an NFL veteran, the Jet organization is in complete disarray, and Trevor Lawrence exhibits much more talent than their entire offense combined.

Look for the Jaguars quarterback to thrive and, ideally, get some help from other skill-position players.

2. It is time for specific Jaguars to step up in Week 10.

Without a shadow of a doubt, running back James Robinson has undoubtedly been the Jaguars’ best offensive skill player in 2021. But the team may be without his presence again this Sunday due to a nagging heel injury. This means that other offensive players must step up in his stead.

While starting tight end Dan Arnold has done well, players like Marvin Jones Jr. and Laviska Shenault Jr. must get more involved. On the season, neither has been heavily featured as they both have less than forty receptions each.

As previously mentioned, the Colts’ secondary leaves much to be desired. Look for them to be featured more if the game doesn’t turn into another defensive slugfest like last week.
