Just a few weeks ago, the Jacksonville Jaguars look in a state of disarray. They had lost five straight games to start the 2021 season and it was uncertain when they would win their first game. A talking head went as far as to suggest they could be the first team to go 0-17.

However, the Jags kept grinding and earned their first victory of the year against the Miami Dolphins in Week 6. Although they went on to lose to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 8, they bounced back in Week 9 and beat the Buffalo Bills.

The Jaguars’ defense was able to contain quarterback Josh Allen and limited the Bills’ high-powered offense to just six points. On the other hand, they only scored nine points and need to get better production from their offense, as the defense can’t keep up performing at such a high level every week.

The Jaguars will visit the Indianapolis Colts in Week 10. If they want to start the first winning streak of the Urban Meyer era, these five players will need to shine.

Jaguars player that must shine vs. Colts No. 1 – TE Dan Arnold

Tight end Dan Arnold has become an important piece of the Jaguars’ offense. Offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell recently told the local media the coaching staff needs to look for ways to get him involved. Also, they are will explore ways to move him around and look for favorable matchups.

Arnold has become one of Trevor Lawrence’s favorite targets, catching 20 passes on 30 targets in the last four games. He will most likely get a big workload against the Colts.
