If someone told you the Jacksonville Jaguars would beat the Buffalo Bills in Week 9, you would have probably given them a blank stare and blocked them on social media. However, they would be vindicated, as the Jags pulled off a stunning upset and won their season game of the 2021 season.

Just a few weeks ago, talk about head coach Urban Meyer being one-and-done in the NFL surfaced but after winning two games in the last three weeks, you won’t hear much about his job security anytime soon. In Week 9, he had his team ready to face off against the 6-2 Bills and showed may very well be the right man to oversee the Jaguars’ rebuild.

Next on Jacksonville’s schedule are the Indianapolis Colts, who are coming off a win over the New York Jets. Just like the Jags, Indy lost their first three games in 2021. But they went on to win three of their next four. They lost again in Week 8 before beating the Jets. Here are the odds and the final score for Sunday’s game.

Jaguars vs. Colts Week 10 final score prediction.

The Jaguars defeated the Bills in a dominant fashion. Although their offense didn’t score any points, they made enough plays to keep drives alive and keep Buffalo’s offense on the sidelines. They should be better in Week 10, as they will most likely have running back James Robinson back. The former Illinois State Redbird missed the Bills game with an ankle injury but head coach Urban Meyer told the media he expects him to play against the Colts.

Trevor Lawrence has had a couple of rough outings but you will be hard-pressed to find a quarterback that was flawless in his first year in the NFL. On the other hand, the defense is playing at a high level. Even though the front seven hasn’t racked up sacks at a high rate, they have constantly applied pressure upfront and made several stops throughout the season.

Meanwhile, the Colts have been inconsistent this season. All their wins in 2021 have come against teams with a losing record. They have some pretty good talented players such as linebacker Darius Leonard, defensive tackle DeForest Buckner and running back Jonathan Taylor but they need to get better production from quarterback Carson Wentz, whom they traded for earlier this year.

The Jaguars should feel good about their chances in Week 10. The game will be at Lucas Oil Stadium but they showed in Week 9 that they can compete with any team in the NFL on any given Sunday. Expect them to beat the Colts and start the first winning streak of the Urban Meyer era.

Final score: Jaguars 24 -Colts 17
