The Jacksonville Jaguars have shown a lot of growth since Week 1. No longer do they need to burn their time outs just to line up correctly. Rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence is quickly settling in the NFL, and it may be just a matter of time before his name pops up in the list of the league’s best young passers.

James Robinson is a top 10 running back, and Jamal Agnew is proving he can be a dynamic weapon on offense and special teams. Moreover, the Jaguars have allowed just ten sacks in 2021, which is one of the best marks in the league. Simply, the offense is showing potential even if that hasn’t translated into wins yet.

Meanwhile, the defense gave up a season-low 20 points against the Miami Dolphins in Week 6. If the unit can have a similar performance and force a couple of turnovers, they will have a shot at beating the Seattle Seahawks in Week 8. Here are five bold predictions for the game.

1. Trevor Lawrence will have his second multi-touchdown game of the year.

Head coach Urban Meyer and offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell have raved about Trevor Lawrence’s development. The top pick in the 2021 draft checks all the boxes. He has the arm strength to make all kinds of throws. He can extend plays with his athleticism and isn’t fazed by the pass rush. Furthermore, his decision-making is only getting better by the week.

Still, Lawrence has only thrown more than two touchdown passes in a game once this season and that came against the Houston Texans in the season opener. On the bright side, he’s cut down his interceptions and has had just one in the last three games.

The rookie signal-caller will continue to show progress and throw three touchdowns against the Seahawks. Also, he will be turnover-free.
