Urban Meyer hasn’t even coached in a regular-season game and is already getting a lot of heat. Depending on who you ask, there are several reasons why the former Florida head coach has the Jacksonville Jaguars trending in the wrong direction. The main one is that the Jags’ve lost their first two preseason games.

It’s true that the Jaguars are a work in progress. They need to do a better job of protecting whoever is behind center and need to find a way to stop opposing teams from feasting on their secondary. On the bright side, they have one more game to fix all the issues they have before the start of the regular season.

The Jaguars will travel to AT&T Stadium to take on the Dallas Cowboys in the preseason finale. Here are five bold predictions ahead of the game.

1. The Jacksonville Jaguars will kickstart the running game.

Even before Travis Etienne left the game, the Jags had a hard time running the ball against the New Orleans Saints in Week 2 of the preseason. Urban Meyer blames the team’s inability to tot the rock on missed assignments and blocking issues. The coaching staff will clean up those issues and James Robinson, Carlos Hyde, Dare Ogunbowale, and Devine Ozigbo will have clear running lanes against the Dallas Cowboys.

Even if Jacksonville’s offensive line isn’t at full strength and is without some starters once again, they will establish the run early in the game and average 5.0 yards per carry.
