The Jacksonville Jaguars will look very different in 2021. That sounds fairly obvious, as there is a high turnover rate in the NFL rate due to the salary cap, which limits the team’s ability to keep players. Nevertheless, this is particularly true for the Jags, who have spent the offseason looking for ways to upgrade a roster that lacked depth and talent last year.

While it’s too early to tell how all their offseason acquisitions will play out, the early returns have been encouraging. Several newcomers have made a positive impression in the training camp. The same is true for players that should bounce back in 2021.

In particular, these five Jaguars have been trending up in training camp.

Jacksonville Jaguars player trending up No. 1 – TE Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow has a penchant for getting the spotlight anywhere he goes and it hasn’t been any different in Duval. After a successful collegiate career in Florida, he failed to adjust to the pros and was out of the league after just three seasons. After giving baseball a shot, the former Gator is back in the NFL. The difference is that he’s now playing tight end and not quarterback his old position.

Tebow is not a lock to make the roster but he has had a solid offseason. While the transition from quarterback to tight end is no easy task, he’s made the most out of his opportunity. He’s shown soft hands and has been a reliable target in the passing game, catching every pass he’s been thrown in training camp. While he has his work cut out, he’s trending in the right direction.
