Which Jacksonville Jaguars players could throw a wrench at the organization’s plans in the 2021 season?

The Jacksonville Jaguars aren’t currently a playoff team. They are not even a sneaky sleeper pick. In the best-case scenario, the Jags will overachieve this upcoming season. That doesn’t mean they won’t be fun to watch in 2021 though. After all the changes they underwent this offseason, they should be able to play competitive football — something they often failed to do last year — and even have a few opposing teams against the ropes.

The Jaguars have spent the offseason fortifying their roster. They added depth and a few playmakers in free agency. They then selected several building blocks in 2021’s draft, including a potential franchise quarterback in Trevor Lawrence. Based on the talent level the organization currently has, they should be able to win seven games or maybe eight this offseason.

Keep in mind that this is a young team. Even though head coach Urban Meyer expects them to compete right away, he’s making his NFL debut, and both he and this Jags’ squad will experience growing pains. There are solid building blocks in place and talent at several positional groups but the team will need some of their newcomers to make an impact right off the bat. If they do, they could help the Jaguars become a formidable team. On the other hand, if they falter, they could hinder their chances of winning games in 2021.

Here are four players that heading into the 2021 season with feast or famine potential.
