The Jacksonville Jaguars had a pretty good offseason. Although they didn’t go into free-agency splurge, they still acquired a few players that should make an instant impact. They also drafted a franchise quarterback in Trevor Lawrence and added depth to positional groups that were in serious need of it. However, there are a few areas of the roster that could still use a boost. The Jags still have plenty of cap space, $38.49 million according to Over the Cap, and there are several players that may be worth a look.

On the other hand, Jacksonville could also make a trade. If they could acquire any player from the NFC North without any restrictions, who would it be? Here are four dream targets — one from each NFC North team — the Jaguars would probably like to pursue:

Davante Adams would be a great addition to the Jacksonville Jaguars WR unit.

The Jaguars have a well-rounded wide receiver corps. Trevor Lawrence should have no trouble finding an open target this upcoming season. DJ Chark Jr. had a relatively down season in 2020 but he’s shown he can play at a Pro Bowl level. Marvin Jones Jr. has been an underrated receiver throughout his career and Laviska Shenault Jr. is a candidate to break out in 2021. However, Davante Adams is the cream of the crop and could turn the Jags’ wide receiver unit from very good to elite.

The 2014 second-round selection has appeared in 41 games over the last three years and has hauled in 309 receptions for 3,757 yards and 36 touchdowns. Furthermore, he’s a four-time All-Pro nod and earned a First-Team All-Pro designation last season.
