The Jacksonville Jaguars gave their cornerback room a boost this offseason. They didn’t have to fully revamp it as they already had some talented players, they just needed to get healthy. Last year, the Jags had a solid unit but injuries hit them hard. C.J. Henderson held his own before he missed the second half of his rookie campaign with a hamstring injury. Sidney Jones was having a career revival in Jacksonville but an Achilles injury cut his season short.

The Jaguars brought back Jones and Tre Herndon this offseason. They also signed Shaquill Griffin and drafted Tyson Campbell in this year’s selection meeting. The team’s brass is pleased with their current cornerback room and the unit could end up becoming a strength this upcoming season. However, Jacksonville will face some talented wide receivers in 2021. Even though the unit has depth and can withstand injuries, these four wideouts could give them a hard time.

Fourth-toughest WR on the Jacksonville Jaguars schedule: DeAndre Hopkins

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones could have made the list if his status wasn’t uncertain. Even though there’s a chance he stays in ‘A-Town’, changing teams looks like the most likely outcome for the All-Pro nod this offseason. This leaves another NFC receiver with the fourth spot.

DeAndre Hopkins was dealt to the Arizona Cardinals last offseason but still had the same impact he had for the Houston Texans from 2013 to 2019. Although he only scored six touchdowns in the dessert, he finished the year with 115 receptions for 1,407 yards. This was the fourth time he caught more than 100 passes in his eight-year career. The Jaguars will have to find a way to slow him down in Week 3 if they want to start the season 3-0.
