After finishing 1-15 last year, the Jacksonville Jaguars have spent the offseason making changes to their coaching staff, the front office, and the roster. Out is Doug Marrone as the head coach, and in is Urban Meyer. Also, the team made Trent Baalke their general manager, and the duo of Meyer and Baalke has shaken things up in their short time together.

While the Jags didn’t make many splash signings in free agency, they fortified the roster and added depth, something the team lacked in 2020. Also, they used the 2021 NFL Draft as a means to acquire franchise building blocks such as quarterback Trevor Lawrence and running back Travis Etienne.

The NFL already announced the 2021 schedule and although this Jacksonville team just got one primetime game, it won’t matter much as long as they are fun to watch and win more games than they did last year, right? Heading into the season, these are four must-watch games:

4) Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans in Week 1

This one is an easy choice because who doesn’t want to see Lawerence make his NFL debut and take advantage of all the offensive weapons he will have at his disposal. Also, it will be interesting to see Meyer coaching his first game in the pros. Moreover, the team will see the impact of all the changes they’ve implemented this offseason.

It doesn’t hurt that the Texans are currently hurting and may not be at full strength, so you could witness the Jaguars win a game for the first time in more than a year.
