Which previous members of the Jacksonville Jaguars organization are still up for grabs?

The Jacksonville Jaguars have parted ways with plenty of players over the past few years. They were so close to reaching the Super Bowl in 2017 but the franchise quickly took a dive and most of their top players were traded away. They no longer have Jalen Ramsey, Yannick Ngakoue, or Calais Campbell.

However, just a few short years later, the Jaguars are starting to get themselves back onto the right track.

It’s interesting to think about where the Jaguars would be today had they not destroyed their championship-caliber team from a few seasons ago. We see these former members of the Jaguars around the league and it seems like such a bittersweet ending.

Who do you think are the most notable former Jaguars that have yet to find a new home in 2021?

CB A.J. Bouye

A.J. Bouye spent three seasons in Jacksonville between 2017 and 2019. He was elected to the Pro Bowl in 2017 and named second-team All-Pro that same year. Additionally, Bouye helped the Jaguars advance to the AFC Championship where they lost to the New England Patriots 24-20.

During his time with the Jaguars, Bouye played in 43 games (starting all 43) and had eight interceptions, 175 combined tackles, and 34 passes defended.

Bouye was traded to the Denver Broncos in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick early in the offseason last year. He played seven games for the Broncos and only managed to record 23 combined tackles with six passes defended. Bouye ultimately became a cap casualty this offseason for Denver.
