The Jacksonville Jaguars have been one of the most active NFL teams in free agency even though it’s just “officially starting”. Head coach Urban Meyer said in his most recent sit-down with the local media that the Jags wanted to solidify the defensive front and revamp the secondary in free agency, and that’s precisely what they have done by signing players like cornerback Shaquil Griffin or defensive end Roy Robertson-Harris.

However, not all the Jaguars’ additions have been on defense. They have also agreed to terms with tight end Chris Manhertz and wide receivers Jamal Agnew and Marvin Jones Jr. Although it took Jacksonville a bit to gain steam and pick up the pace in free agency, it’s fair to say that the roster looks significantly better than it did after the 2020 season, when they finished 1-15.

On the other hand, the Jags shouldn’t stop now and should continue adding talent as there are many players still available in the open market. Per Over the Cap, they have $47 million in cap space and can still make a few splash signings. General manager Trent Baalke talked about getting value in free agency and they’re going to get to the point where players won’t command top-market compensation. Here are three of the best players still available that the Jaguars should target, they were all available at the time of publishing.
