NFL teams change considerably from one year to another but this feels particularly true for the AFC South, which has gone through many changes this offseason. The Jacksonville Jaguars have probably undergone the most drastic makeover, hiring Urban Meyer as their head coach and Trent Baalke as their general manager. However, they aren’t the only team in the division that will look different in 2021.

The Houston Texans have a new head coach in David Culley and quarterback Deshaun Watson may or may not be back with the team in 2021. The Indianapolis Colts didn’t make head-coaching changes but will have a different signal-caller at the helm, as Phillip Rivers has announced he will retire.

The Tennessee Titans are the only team that didn’t make changes at head coach or quarterback, but they have already begun to prepare for free agency and have released cornerback Malcolm Butler and safety Kenny Vaccaro.

Besides making changes to their coaching staff and front office, the Jags will give their roster a significant makeover this offseason. They have already placed the franchise tag on left tackle Cam Robinson and have re-signed cornerback Tre Herndon and offensive lineman Tyler Shatley.

Nevertheless, they are just getting started and will continue making additions to their roster in the free-agent market due to the vast amount of cap space they will have at their disposal. They should target these three players from the AFC who are scheduled to hit the open market.
