The Jacksonville Jaguars have re-signed a couple of players, cornerback Tre Herndon and reserve offensive lineman Tyler Shatley ahead of free agency. Moreover, they placed the franchise tag on left tackle Cam Robinson, which will keep him with the team for at least one more year.

The Jaguars are just getting started though, as they still have plenty of holes to fill and other free-agent decisions to make, such as whether they will also re-sign defensive end Dawuane Smoot and wide receiver Keelan Cole. At this point, anything can happen and in case they don’t bring either one back, they will have to find someone to take their place.

After tagging Robinson, the Jags had around $67.5 million in cap room but even after re-signing Shatley and Herndon, they should still have a vast amount of cap space to make a few splash signings in free agency. General manager Trent Baalke said in a recent sit-down with the local media the team is looking for value in the open market, but that doesn’t mean they won’t make meaningful free-agent additions this offseason.

Rather, Jacksonville’s brass will look for players who will have an impact on the Jaguars’ roster at the right price in 2021. Here are four players from each AFC West team the Jaguars should target in the open market.
