The Jacksonville Jaguars are stacked up on all of the draft capital that they need in order to complete a successful rebuild. They are expected to draft quarterback Trevor Lawrence with the first overall pick and all head coach Urban Meyer can do is continue to rave about the QB prospect. If the Jaguars want Lawrence to be successful at the NFL level, then they have to be sure to get him help, and I don’t just mean receiving targets.

Jaguars can support Trevor Lawrence through the draft

OT Samuel Cosmi

The left tackle position is still insecure in Jacksonville with Cam Robinson’s free agency status still pending. Samuel Cosmi is a versatile lineman who is a solid blocker in both the run and passing game. He can easily be an impact blindside blocker for Trevor Lawrence.

Cosmi has a big frame, good length, and a strong football IQ.

TE Pat Freiermuth

Pat Freiermuth is widely considered the second-best tight end in the 2021 NFL Draft. Freiermuth is a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses. He’s not a very fast player but he plays a physical game similar to that of Rob Gronkowski. He’s a sound route-runner and can easily overpower defenders and create his own lanes.

WR Dyami Brown

Dyami Brown is one of the most talented wide receivers in the draft but is not talked about enough. Brown has had exceptional production at North Carolina. He had 1,000 receiving yards in each of his last two seasons as well as 12 touchdowns in 2019 and eight in 2020. Brown is an excellent athlete with good route-running skills, burst, and strong hands. I’m honestly shocked he isn’t discussed more by the draft media, as he feels like one of the most sound receivers in the draft. Brown is versatile enough to play in the slot and out wide and can really be plugged in anywhere.
