2021 NFL Draft, picks 20 to 25

Round 1, pick 20 – Chicago Bears: QB Mac Jones, Alabama

The Chicago Bears are in major need of a quarterback and it’s possible they may get one in free agency (Alex Smith makes a lot of sense if he’s released by Washington). If they get a free-agent quarterback, look for them to get an offensive tackle here. If they don’t, they’ll get the last quarterback of the first round.

Round 1, pick 21 – Indianapolis Colts: OT Samuel Cosmi, Texas

The Indianapolis Colts traded for Carson Wentz but their offensive line has dropped off. Samuel Cosmi will be a solid player for the Colts.

Round 1, pick 22 – Tennessee Titans: WR Rashod Bateman, Minnesota

The Tennessee Titans have needs on the defensive line, but they also need playmakers on offense. It all depends on how the first 21 picks pan out, but look for them to go offense here.

Round 1, pick 23 – New York Jets: CB Asante Samuel Jr, Florida State

With their second pick in the first round, the Jets fill their biggest need with a ball-hawking cornerback in Asante Samuel Jr.

Round 1, pick 24 – Pittsburgh Steelers: RB Najee Harris, Alabama

The Pittsburgh Steelers need a running back and they get the only one in the first round. Najee Harris will step into a starting role immediately.

Round 1, pick 25 – Jacksonville Jaguars: S Trevon Moehrig, TCU

With their second pick in the first round, the Jaguars fill another need by landing the top safety in this year’s draft, getting Trevon Moehrig at this spot is good value.
