The Jacksonville Jaguars must’ve been thrilled when they saw the Cleveland Browns make the playoffs and subsequently beat the Pittsburgh Steelers. After all, they have come a long way since finishing 0-16 in 2017 and showed that NFL teams can turn their situation around in a relatively short amount of time.

Besides changing head coaches, something the Jaguars already did when they hired Urban Meyer, the Browns also use a first overall selection to draft their franchise quarterback, Baker Mayfield. They didn’t stop there though and they have surrounded their signal-caller with playmakers and have put together a competent defense to complement their offense.

If the ‘Jags’ want to start winning on a consistent basis once again, they will have to follow Cleveland’s blueprint. They will have to take a quarterback with the top pick in this year’s draft, and they will have to give add difference-makers via free agency and the draft.

This Jacksonville team is projected to have $73 million in cap space and should be able to add a couple of top-notch players and a few more contributors in free agency. Among all the players that are set to hit the open market, the Jaguars should target these three Browns.
