Even though the Jacksonville Jaguars finished the 2020 season with a 1-15 record, they played competently for a few games after their Bye Week. After allowing more than 30 points from Week 2 to Week 7, they allowed 27 or less in their next four games and lost three of those by four points or fewer with one exception, their Week 11 matchup against the Pittsburg Steelers.

On one hand, the ‘Jags’ were able to hold the Steelers to 27 points. However, their offense had a hard time moving the ball with rookie quarterback Jake Luton at the helm and muster a paltry three points. If this Jacksonville team wants to avoid that kind of blowout losses in 2021, they will have to give their roster a facelift and add talent in free agency and the draft.

They are projected to have $73 million in cap space, an amount that will allow them to be active in the open market and make a couple of big-name additions without hindering their finances. Meanwhile, the Steelers are currently $34 million in the red, per Over the Cap, and may not be able to keep their own free agents. These three could help the Jaguars right out of the gate.
