The Jacksonville Jaguars are in a prime position to get better.

The Jacksonville Jaguars knew they needed to make changes if they wanted to get out of the cellar of the NFL. The first step they took this offseason was moving on from Doug Marrone and hiring Urban Meyer as their new head coach. Their next item in their agenda will be to bring in a new general manager to pair him with the Florida and Ohio State head coach.

Once the ‘Jags’ have a general manager in place, they will be able to shift their attention to adding playmakers via free agency and the draft. Every offseason is important, but this one will arguably the most critical one in franchise history. This Jacksonville team has the means to get significantly better in a short period of time, as long as they make the right decisions, something the previous regime wasn’t known for.

The Jaguars are projected to have $73.36 million in cap space and will have the opportunity to sign a few playmakers in the free agency period. They will also have 11 draft picks at their disposal and will have to get most of them right if they want to right the ship. The players on this mock draft can set Jacksonville for success.
