Could the Jacksonville Jaguars give their wide receiver group a facelift?

Heading into the offseason, the Jacksonville Jaguars have a solid wide receiver corps, but even though they currently have some promising talent in place, the team could still sign one playmaker in 2021’s free agency period. There will be many talented wideouts in the open market but Kenny Golladay of the Detroit Lions may be one of the best ones of the bunch.

Wide receiver may be one of Jaguars’ least pressing needs this offseason, but Chris Roling of Bleacher Report believes Jacksonville could be one of the best landing spots for Golladay in the offseason.

Roling acknowledges this Jacksonville team has already a solid wide receiver corps but argues that  Golladay could solidify the position and establish himself as their top wide receiver. He argues the organization needs to five Trevor Lawrence, whom they will likely draft with 2021’s first overall pick, a proven number one wideout.

At first sight, Golladay could be a luxury the Jaguars don’t need, as they have a solid core in place. Nevertheless, the addition of the Pro Bowler could turn a good wide receiver unit into a great one. Moreover, the team’s brass can’t afford to overlook someone that could come in and start contributing right out of the gate.
