The Jacksonville Jaguars still have two games left on the schedule.

After holding the second overall pick for most of the year, the Jacksonville Jaguars got the first overall when the New York Jets beat the Los Angeles Rams in Week 15. As exciting as it may be for the franchise to have the opportunity to draft Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence, the season isn’t over yet, as there are still two games on the calendar.

If the ‘Jags’ beat the Chicago Bears Sunday and the ‘Gang Green’ drops another game, 2021’s top selection may revert back to the latter, a likely scenario since head coach Doug Marrone said that he’s planning on leading the team to their second victory of the year.

Marrone’s decision to give his best, might not sit well with fans, but it isn’t in players’ or coaches’ DNA to get on the field just to lose. Jets punter Braden Mann played a key role in the Jets’ lone win of the year when he made a game-saving tackle towards the end of their Week 15 contest.

Mann may’ve cost the team the first overall pick, but he told ESPN via a phone call he’s paid to play and to win games and hadn’t thought about dropping it on purpose. The same is true for Marrone, who still has a job and will try to show his next potential employer he never gave up on the season.

If Marrone wants to help this Jacksonville team win their second game of the year (and possibly lose the chance to draft Lawerence), these ten Jaguars will have to shine in Week 16.
