Trevor Lawrence, quarterback. 1. player. 879. . .

The Jacksonville Jaguars can pick the most talented prospect in the draft.

There’s nothing wrong with Justin Fields. In fact, the Ohio State quarterback will be one of the top prospects in next year’s draft. However, any team that was given the choice between him and Trevor Lawrence would pick the latter without a doubt.

The Tigers quarterback is 198-of-286 for 2,753 yards, 22 touchdowns, and four interceptions. He could’ve sat the 2020 season and he would still hear his name called with the first overall pick. Ever since he stepped in Clemson, he’s shown the ability to play in the NFL, and now that the Jaguars hold the highest selection in the draft, they can use it on Lawrence.

834. . . . Jaelan Phillips, defensive end. 1. player

With the quarterback position out of the way, the Jaguars can use their second first-round pick, the second one they got when they traded cornerback Jalen Ramsey to the Los Angeles Rams in 2019, to fortify their defensive front. This Jacksonville team needs to hoard as much talent as they can and Jaelan Phillips could give their front four a boost.

In 2020, the Miami defensive end has registered eight sacks, one interception, three pass breakdowns, and 45 total tackles (15.5 for a loss). This Jacksonville team would surely welcome that kind of production.
