The Jacksonville Jaguars tuned out early in Week 15.

The Jacksonville Jaguars had lost by four points or less in four of the last six weeks, so it would’ve been reasonable to expect them to play hard against the Baltimore Ravens. If you thought they were going to show up and sling the ball with quarterback Gardner Minshew II back in the lineup, you were surely disappointed to see the team struggle to move the ball all game long.

It’s true the coaching staff turned back to Minshew only after rookie Jake Luton and veteran Mike Glennon struggled, but there was a slight hope he could play the way he did in his rookie year, when he threw 21 touchdowns and won six out of 12 games. Nevertheless, the sophomore quarterback was rattled by the Ravens defense and was sacked five times.

The Jaguars offensive line wasn’t able to hold their ground at the line of scrimmage, but Minshew also held the ball at times when he could’ve pulled the trigger. The fact the Ravens kept rookie running back James Robinson didn’t help matters.

They made it a priority to stop Jacksonville’s running game and held the Illinois State standout to 16 carries for 35 yards. In the end, their game plan worked.

What does social media think of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ most recent loss?

Looking back, this might’ve been the Jaguars’ worst game of the season, and that says something. They have already lost 13th and it doesn’t seem like they could earn another victory in 2020. It seems like this team tune out as soon as they saw how easily the Ravens put points on the board.

Although the ‘Jags’ made a few nice plays, there isn’t really much to write about and there are many things to be disappointed about. Throughout the game and afterwards, social media let its displeasure known and showed there’s a consensus feeling regarding the team’s inability to play at a high level.

There are still two weeks left in the regulars season, and if the Jaguars played the way they did against the Ravens, the comments are only going to get worse.
