The Jacksonville Jaguars’ offense must seize their chance.

Although the Jacksonville Jaguars haven’t been able to get that elusive second win of the year, they have shown more competence on offense with quarterback Mike Glennon leading the way. The veteran is far from a top-notch player but with him at the helm, the ‘Jags’ have been able to keep up with opposing teams and have been on the verge of winning a couple of games.

It’s true Glennon turned the ball over three times in Week13 and if he had taken better care of the ball, the outcome could have been different. If the veteran can avoid turnovers against the Tennessee Titans in Week 14, this Jacksonville team will have a shot at winning its second game of the year.

After all, the Titans haven’t been as dominant as they were the first time they met this season and their defense ranks 25th in both points and yards allowed. Moreover, they near the bottom in passing touchdowns given up. This is an area the Jaguars passing game must exploit Sunday.

On the other hand, the Jaguars will also have a relatively favorable matchup on the ground, as Tennessee’s defense ranks 16th in yards allowed. Offensive coordinator Jay Gruden needs to get rookie running back James Robinson heavily involved in the game plan and take some shots downfield early in the contest. For that to happen, the Jaguars must account for these four Titans defenders.
