4. player. 52. . . . Ben Bartch, offensive line

These two role players will need to step up for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Center Brandon Linder left the Vikings game with an ankle injury and has already been ruled out for Sunday’s game, so Tyler Shatley will get the starting nod at guard, and rookie Ben Bartch will be the team’s starting left guard in Week 14.

This will be Bartch’s first start of the year. On 149 snaps on offense, he’s three hits and four hurries and has a 53.8 Pro Football Focus overall grade. He will need to have a solid performance if they want to keep Mike Glennon upright.

. Tyler Eifert, tight end. 3. player. 52. .

This season, Tyler Eifert has hauled in 28 receptions for 249 yards and two touchdowns. Although that is nice production for a role player, the Jaguars surely expected more when they gave the former Cincinnati Bengals tight end a two-year $9.5 million contract.

Eifert is set to earn $3.9 million in 2021, but his contract has an option and if the team decides not to exercise it, they would be able to save $5 million with only $1.25 in dead money. The tight end has a few games to convince the team’s brass he should remain on the roster in 2021, and having a good game against the Titans could help him strengthen his case.
