. . . Micah Parsons. 4. player. 806

The Jaguars currently have two very good linebackers in Myles Jack and Joe Schobert. Imagine if they added Penn State’s Micah Parsons into that mix. Parson’s has been projected to be a top-five pick in this years’ draft ever since the conclusion of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Parsons is incredibly versatile and has was a huge factor in Penn State’s defense last year, racking up 109 total tackles, 14 tackles for loss, five sacks, and four forced fumbles. Parsons ended up opting out of the current season so unfortunately, we couldn’t see him build on his numbers but I have no doubt he would’ve had a fantastic season.

Parsons has an explosive trigger and great instincts. It’s almost near impossible to stop him when he blitzes. He could use a little more development in the turn and run area of his skill set but overall Parsons is a fantastic prospect and whoever lands him will be very lucky.

834. . . . Gregory Rousseau. 3. player

Gregory Rousseau is considered a “raw prospect” by scouts. The ceiling for Rousseau is high, the only issue is his technique is trial and error at this point. In order to become the player we know he can be, Rousseau really needs to work on his arsenal of pass rush moves.

While Rousseau may not be as highly touted as Myles Garrett or Chase Young, he certainly is arguably the best prospect at his position in this draft. The 6’7″ 265-pound specimen had 54 total tackles, 19.4 for a loss, and 15.5 sacks last season in his redshirt freshman year.

The Jaguars really need help with their pass rush. I would expect them to look to both free agency and the draft to fill that need. It just depends on what round they find has the best value.
