The Jacksonville Jaguars have the resources to add talent in 2021’s draft.

The Jacksonville Jaguars currently have 11 draft picks heading into the offseason. Although it may look like a big amount, they have plenty of roster needs, so when everything is said and done, they might not be enough.

Heading into the offseason, quarterback, left tackle, defensive end, and safety are the team’s biggest needs, and looking at the talent level and the prospects that are going to be available in 2021’s draft, there are plenty of different routes the ‘Jags’ can take.

They definitely need to pick a franchise quarterback. Gardner Minshew II doesn’t look like the answer at the position and veteran Mike Glennon is nothing more than a short-term fix, so the organization needs to take advantage of his draft position and the number of selections to address that need.

Meanwhile, Cam Robinson has been inconsistent throughout his four-year career and is set to become a free agent in 2021. By drafting a left tackle, the Jaguars avoid the need to overpay Robinson and give the position a boost at the same time.

On the other hand, the Jaguars can’t afford to allocate too many resources on offense and overlook their defense in the process. They need to devote a healthy amount of selections to that side of the ball. This mock addresses both offensive and defensive needs.
