The Jacksonville Jaguars must answer these three key questions.

If you turned off your TV while watching the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Pittsburgh Steelers, you probably felt relief, and probably disappointed too. The ‘Jags’ made things somewhat competitive in the first half and safety Daniel Thomas interception gave everyone hopes this group could make a stand against the only remaining undefeated squad in the NFL.

Then, things snowballed and what was originally a quasi-close contest became lopsided by the third quarter and the Jaguars lost 27-3. Nobody likes to see their favorite team get crushed and tuning out seems like the healthy thing to do.

Things may not get better for the rest of the season, but this Jacksonville team still needs to show up the following six weeks and give their best effort. It’s unlikely they will start suddenly winning games and finish the season 7-9, but they can’t just give up either.

The team’s brass will have their cut short. The defense has been plagued by injuries and the unit will be without defensive end Josh Allen, safety Daniel Thomas and C.J. Henderson for an extended period of time, if not the rest of the season.

Cornerback Sidney Jones is nursing an Achilles injury and he could be back sooner, but things look overall dire for the defense. On the offensive side of the ball, things aren’t looking too good either. They’re a little healthier but the fact they could only muster a paltry three points against the Steelers should be alarming. The show must go on and here are three questions the team must answer ahead of Week 12.
